We are seeking a keen and experienced Waste Services Manager with a good track-record of managing frontline services who will lead the team at an exciting time in the industry to make a real difference in the way the services are delivered.
As Waste Services Team Manager you will have responsibility for refuse and recycling collections, street cleansing, fleet services, and our in-house waste transfer station. You will also lead on the delivery of our recycling targets and support the council’s ambition to be zero carbon by 2030.
You will have a proven track record in delivering service improvement, good commercial acumen along with strong leadership skills and the ability to forge effective relationships with a range of external and internal partners.
