Cumbria County Council is looking for an experienced Waste Operational Manager to support and continuously improve the waste service. You will be responsible for managing, administering and overseeing the day to day running of the Council's waste service. The role requires the post holder to lead, motivate and develop the waste service team, creating value for money waste services through the existing PPP structure that fit the needs of Cumbria in a way that is compliant with relevant regulatory requirements and environmental standards.
You will have an appropriate professional qualification, substantial management experience in a large complex organisation, a successful track record in developing effective partnerships across organisations, and proven ability to network and project manage.
