East Suffolk Council is launching a new local authority trading company (LATCo) that will build a platform for dynamic and successful delivery for the future. Providing efficient and effective waste collection, together with high standard maintenance of public spaces, this company is an integral part of the council’s long-term strategy to support growth of the local economy, exceed expectations of residents and businesses and address the climate emergency.
This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of the Strategic Waste and Contract Management Team, to support improvement and development works for the Waste and Street Scene service with our key partners.
You will work to support the Strategic Waste and Contract Management Team by providing sound and robust advice relating to the review and improvement planning of key operations in order to deliver a consistently high standard of service which is compliant with the appropriate legislation.
You will need to have proven experience in a similar role and experience of delivering services to the public, including investigating, and resolving complaints. Ideally you will have a good understanding of Health, Safety and Welfare policies and procedures.
