The Role:
A fantastic opportunity to join our team of Technical Officers within Environmental Delivery Services. Working as part of a team, you will use specialised software to optimise Bolton Councils’ operational rounds for Waste, Recycling and Neighbourhood Services. You will be responsible for tracking and reporting key performance indicators and use the data to identify areas of improvement within the service.
About You:
We are looking for an enthusiastic, detail-orientated, and self-motivated individual. You will have the ability to develop, analyse, and maintain complex data and produce supporting documentation and statistics. Experience of computerised systems such as GIS, Civica, vehicle telematics, in-cab technology and related software is essential to the role. You will have excellent communication skills which will allow you to liaise with a range of individuals within the Council as well as external partners and contractors.
About Us:
You’ll be joining Environmental Services Delivery at an exciting time as the service is introducing a new integrated software solution for its front line and back-office teams. The team supports the delivery of key front-line services such as street cleansing, waste management, recycling, fly tip removal, greenspaces, grounds maintenance, transport, pest control, and others.
