Our Waste and Streetscene teams deliver high-quality services that our citizens and communities rely upon and we are looking for an inspirational leader to focus on delivering transformation change that responds positively to the challenges of the Environment Act and the Climate and Ecological emergency.
The Street Services Manager role sits within our Neighbourhood Services team and as an experienced senior manager with extensive leadership experience in a complex multifunctional organisation, you will provide leadership and effective management of teams within the Council’s Waste & Recycling and Streetscene Services areas.
You will be an experienced professional who will complement the Neighbourhood Services management team, supporting continuous improvement, new ways of working, excellence and efficiency in all we deliver.
As a candidate, you will excel in managing complex and strategic issues and have a successful track record in leading and managing change. You will have financial and risk management experience in a relevant environment and have a working knowledge of the functions within the remit of this post. A commitment to ongoing further professional development would also be expected.
