Leicester City Council’s Waste Management Team, in partnership with Biffa Leicester, manages Leicester City’s waste and recycling services.
The role is to facilitate the development, implementation and promotion of the City Council’s Waste Management Services, in addition to the development and delivery of new recycling and waste minimisation schemes.
Requirements of the post:
- Experience in project development and management;
- Experience of undertaking presentations;
- Good understanding of environmental issues relating to waste management, waste minimisation and recycling;
- Experience of promotions and marketing;
- Experience of developing and maintaining appropriate information and statistical data systems;
- Must have a full current driving licence.
