The Waste and Street Scene section of Hambleton District Council are looking to fill the vacant job share position of Recycling Officer which will be located at Bridge End House in Northallerton.
You will be required to work on a Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of each week. There is also a requirement for the post holder to undertake some out of hours and weekend work.
Applicants must have the relevant qualifications and experience of working in a waste management environment. Excellent computer skills are essential.
The post holder will be required to act in an enforcement role to effect what is necessary in line with waste legislation. Exploring recycling service contracts and initiatives in accordance with the Councils Waste Strategy will also be an essential duty of the post holder.
A full driving licence and the use of a suitable vehicle are required.
