We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven person to join our Operational Services team as we face the challenges of improving our recycling services and introducing new collection schemes.
The postholder will work closely with teams throughout Pendle and across the County as we work to deliver weekly food waste collections, commercial food waste collections and deal with the challenges of extended producer responsibility and deposit return schemes. This amongst a backdrop of promoting and improving the services we currently deliver to increase our scheme participation rates and reduce contamination to improve recycling and re-use opportunities with our domestic and commercial clients.
The postholder ideally will have experience of working within an operational area delivering frontline services and an area where they have had contact with residents, neighbourhood groups, community leaders, business groups or town Councils. The Service recognises to drive change we need to be able to communicate clearly and continuously on all levels to encourage our resident and customers to join us on the path to improvement.
The postholder will need to be flexible as some weekend, public Bank Holiday and evening working may be required to deliver our messages.
