You will contribute to a programme of work across Surrey which aims to increase recycling rates in low performing areas such as flats by introducing new recycling services and making improvements to existing services. You’ll also monitor and evaluate the success of initiatives, and work with colleagues within Joint Waste Solutions and across the wider partnership to identify opportunities for further improvements.

The successful candidate will have experience in waste management or the wider environmental sector, experience of engaging with residents and encouraging them to use services effectively, and project delivery. You’ll also need to demonstrate experience of effective partnership working and the ability to work flexibly and under your own initiative.

Please note that the role involves travelling across Surrey and taking a hands-on approach whilst working outdoors on a regular basis.
