Projects could be short to long term and complex, for example, external funding bids, internal business and system improvements, service and works procurements, contract reviews, service delivery models, policy and strategy development/reviews.  The work will involve high-profile decisions through organisation governances in line with the Buckinghamshire Council’s vision, values, and strategic objectives.

About you
You will need to be an enthusiastic, self-motivated and organised person.  You will need to be able to demonstrate initiative and the ability to manage complex programmes and or projects, prioritising and coordinating project teams and colleagues.  You will need to have a project management qualification and or excellent experience of project management.  You will need to collaborate closely with relevant in-house and external expertise to deliver various projects to ensure outcomes are delivered meeting expectations.  Waste management experience and knowledge is not essential but is desirable.
