The Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Waste Partnership (RECAP) work together to continuously improve waste services across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough by increasing recycling and reducing waste, finding cost effective and environmentally responsible ways to meet the needs of local communities. RECAP comprises of the 5 Cambridgeshire District Councils, Peterborough Council and Cambridgeshire County Council.

We are looking for an enthusiastic team member to work with a number of stakeholders to help reduce incidents of fly tipping and other environmental crime in the area. This is a very autonomous role which will require expertise in ensuring partners work together on the issues. The group has developed the S.C.R.A.P. campaign to educate and enforce across the County. An interest and experience in using local data from partners to demonstrate improvements to the environment and help reduce costs for the all partner organisations would be an advantage.

The post will be line managed by the RECAP Partnership Manager and will work from home and from partner offices managing time effectively, (work pattern to be agreed with the successful candidate). The post holder will need to manage their time effectively, and will report to RECAP Board on progress against and agreed action plan.
