This position is based at the Council’s Depot, Park Wood Maidstone
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills to join our waste and street scene team. This is a busy frontline service with challenging targets, which needs innovative solutions and a practical approach to develop waste reduction, re-use and recycling initiatives within the borough. You will need exceptional organisational skills and have the ability to engage with a wide range of partners.
You should have experience of managing a frontline service as well as managing budgets.
Responsible for a small team, you will need to be assertive and confident with an ability to work under pressure. This role offers the opportunity to shape the future of Maidstone’s waste and recycling service and support other frontline services including street cleansing and grounds maintenance to deliver service improvements.
