- £23,000 to £25,000 per annum

IS THIS ROLE FOR ME?
We are looking for an Innovation and Sustainability Assistant to support the Innovation and Sustainability team. The role will develop and lead on projects and ad-hoc assignments that support the strategic aims of the business, specifically to support the delivery of our Mini Recycling Centre (MRC) review project. At Bristol Waste we strive to increase recycling, reduce general waste and are passionate about wasting nothing. We are a dynamic award-winning team that thrive under pressure and meet the challenges involved in delivering these changes. You will report to the Head of Innovation and Sustainability and be based at Ashton Court and/or our Albert Road Depot in Bristol.
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent
- Experience and understanding of the waste and recycling industry, with a specific focus on different collection schemes, their characteristics and performance
- Ability to demonstrate analytical skills and experience of research methodologies using a variety of media
- Ability to communicate effectively in a variety of situations, and to present complex information in concise reports and presentations
- Ability to engage with all sections of the community
- Sound ICT skills, with specific knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
