An exciting opportunity for an Environment and Waste Management Technician has become available within the Environment and Waste branch at Leicestershire County Council. The successful candidate will support work across the Branch, gaining valuable experience as part of a team supporting waste operations, contract management, data management and the delivery of projects. We’re looking for a candidate with excellent communication, numeric and organisational skills, with experience in a technical support role and knowledge of waste management.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Flexible approach and co-operative
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Able to work effectively alone or as part of a team
• Competent in the use of databases, spreadsheets and word processing, including Microsoft Office
