There’s never been a more exciting time to join Doncaster Council.
The postholder will be required to develop and improve the existing service, effectively manage contractors and customer relationships, be commercially driven and customer focused with a passion for sales, look to expand the existing boroughwide commercial waste service, to retain the existing customer base and attract new customers to generate additional income.
Contribute to and deliver promotional campaigns to attract new customers to the commercial waste service and other income generating waste services.
Manage all aspects of income and expenditure; and be expected to report trends and enhancements on a monthly basis.
Provide quotations to potential customers and promote the benefits of the council’s service with respect to environmental performance in recycling and diversion from landfill, reliability and quality, accessibility, and locality, and provide competitive rates.
Monitor service delivery and assist in making improvements, where necessary. Monitor compliance and statutory regulations and contract Terms & Conditions, take steps to address non-compliance, have the ability to effectively supervise others, work accurately and produce detailed information.
