St Helens Council is seeking to appoint a Business Development Officer to manage and develop its commercial recycling and waste collection services including Trade Waste, Garden waste and Bulky waste collections.
The role will identify innovative methods to improve all aspects of waste and recycling, including income generation and the promotion of recycling activities. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate an ability to lead on cost-effective initiatives to further the in-house recycling and waste collection services.
You will have experience in the development and implementation of waste and recycling activities and possess effective communication and engagement skills to contribute towards the direction of the future
service.
