This three-hour workshop will take you through the legal compliance template developed by Staffordshire Waste Partnership in line with teh revised Waste Framework Directive regulations. The template follows the Route Map, which the Environment Agency has noted to be 'best practice'. the template aims to offer local authorities the opportunity to condust their service assessments for legal compliance themselves, using a series of questions. In completing the template, the outcome will indicate the legal compliance of your current service, and acts as a robust document for the enforcing body, should your local authority be called into question.
East session is limited to only 10 delegates. Three experts - including Andrew Bird, Chair of LARAC will talk about achieving compliance using the template, based on a working example from a waste collection authroity. The intimate sessions aim to work through the step by steap process with interaction throughout. Delegates are free to ask qustions at any time during the session, to optimise learning outcomes. Attendees will then receive a copy of the template to complete themselves in their own time. Thre are three templaces - one each for WCAs, WDAs and UAs to offer a bespoke solution for all authority needs.
