We would like to invite you to a workshop to discuss applications for hydrogen fuel cells to power the provision of local government services and facilities. This is part of a project supported by government research and innovation funding under the UK Manufacturing Symbiosis Network (UKMSN+).
The Future Lives for Hydrogen Fuel Cells workshop will take place on 27th September, 11.00-13.30, in the Technocentre at Coventry University.
Lunch will be provided.
Come along to find out more:
- Learn about the project and discuss potential applications for hydrogen fuel cells.
- Find out how hydrogen fits into your circular economy and sustainability agenda.
- Take the opportunity to network with like-minded others.
- Share ideas on this important topic.
- Be ‘in the know’ regarding this fast-moving area.
The workshop is part of a circular economy project at the cutting edge of sustainability, investigating the potential for hydrogen fuel cells in different sectors and applications. The project involves Coventry University, Microcab Industries, Oakdene Hollins and Aston University.
Our research so far has identified several potential applications that could be used in service delivery by councils, combined authorities, metropolitan and unitary authorities. Our brief is to explore these possibilities.
The workshop will bring together sustainability/procurement experts and suppliers to consider these new applications and their potential within local government service provision. Your views and experience will greatly assist us, and you will receive insights into new and viable alternative energy options able to replace noisy and polluting diesel generation.
