Contamination Workshop Birmingham 2015
Venue: The Studio, Birmingham, 7 Cannon Street, Birmingham, B2 5EP, United Kingdom
Date and time: Tuesday, 10 February, 2015 - 09:00 - 16:00
Is contamination a problem in your dry recycling? Our one-day workshops on 10 February and 10 March 2015 will help you understand the impact of contamination throughout the reprocessing chain, consider how to address the issue and enable you to create a bespoke action plan that improves the quality of material you collect.
To maximise the benefits of the workshop and increase the likelihood of success, you are strongly encouraged to:
Work with your colleagues and collection crews to identify and understand your contamination and quality issues beforehand (we will provide information on this);
Join us in an online follow up event, so that all the delegates and trainers can provide a supportive environment to feedback on the development of individual action plans.
Who should attend?
Senior officers from Local Authorities wishing to reduce contamination levels in dry recycling, who can take away learning from the workshop, to put in place action plans to tackle contamination.
As these events are likely to be oversubscribed, places will first be offered to Local authority officers, before opening up spaces to staff from other organisations.
Contact us for any more queries.
In order to be considered for a place please register your interest here by 15th January 2015.
